Hello, my name is Tara, and I suffer from RUNGER (Hunger Rage).
Runger is characterized by repeated episodes of aggressive, violent and bizarre behavior, in which one reacts grossly out of proportion due to hunger. Wild eyes, foaming mouth, bad breath, and the ferocious ability to insult absolutely anyone, may be signs of RUNGER.

People with RUNGER can attack others and their possessions (especially food items), causing bodily injury and property damage, when in the height of their episode. RUNGERERS have the ability to eat the inedible . During a typical episode RUNGER sufferers find some of the most atrocious foods appetizing, turning to junk food and empty calories for nourishment.  Most often these episodes are followed by feelings of remorse, regret and embarrassment once the victim’s sugar levels have equalized.

Treatment for RUNGER is available and may include (but is not limited to): packing a lunch, learning how to make healthy satisfying snacks, remembering to pack said snacks, and in worse case scenarios-drinking water until one can get to an abundant source of food. Sufferers of RUNGER must realize that they are not alone and help is available.

1 CUP Raw almonds soaked overnight
1/2 CUP Walnuts
1/2 CUP Hemp Hearts
1/2 CUP Sunflower Seeds
1/2 CUP Dried Coconut
6 TBSP Raw Cocoa Powder
1 PINCH of salt
8 Dates Soaked
2 TSP Cinnamon
2 TBSP Water
Soak your almonds and dates the night before. In a food processor fitted with the S-blade, add each ingredient on their own and blend 30 seconds. Begin with the almonds, walnuts, hemp hearts, sunflower seeds, coconut, cinnamon and cacao powder blending them into a fine meal. Add the dates, water and salt; blend 45-60 seconds, or until dough starts to form. This dough needs to be dry for its ability to form balls. It is quite sticky and you will find your food processor struggling a little at the end to blend. If you think it is too dry, feel free to add more water. Using your fingers or cookie scoop, drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Than take each ball and roll it in coconut and place back on your cookie sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes transfer to a container and store in the freezer. Do not worry, these will never freeze fully. I keep these in the fridge at work and in my freezer at home.
Gather your ingredients
Blend together in foodprocessor
Scoop with fingers (as I did) or cookie scoop onto baking sheet
Roll in Coconut
If you used your fingers use this as an opportunity to round them out.
Put them in the freezer for thirty minutes do not stack
After 30 minutes in the freezer you can eat them
OR gather them & place in an air tight container to be kept in the freezer
