CASHEW BLUEBERRY BANANA PARFAIT FRESH OR FROZEN

I love this dish. It’s a fancy breakfast or an impressive dessert. Either way, it takes about 5 minutes to make, and impresses everyone. You can make it fresh or frozen

*PLEASE KEEP IN MIND the exact measurements of fruit and sweet cashew cream sauce depend on the size of your serving dish, and if you are making this for 1 person or 10. These amounts are for 2 people, in a medium-sized serving dish.

CASHEW BLUEBERRY BANANA PARFAIT- FRESH

1 – 1.5 Cups Sweet Cashew Cream Sauce

1 1/2 Fresh Sliced Bananas

1 CUP Fresh Blueberries

Pinch Cinnamon

Take a serving dish of your choice, I always prefer something clear for this to appreciate its beauty. Place a layer of fresh blueberries and sliced banana and then your sweet cashew cream sauce. Continue to do so until you have filled the dish. Top with the remaining cashew sauce and a pinch of cinnamon, perhaps add a cinnamon stick for dramatic appeal : ) Serve immediately

CASHEW BLUEBERRY BANANA PARFAIT- FROZEN

1 – 1.5 Cups Sweet Cashew Cream Sauce

1 1/2 Frozen Bananas

Pinch of Cinnamon (to taste)

Pinch of Cardamom (to taste)

Maple Syrup (or your choice of sweetener to taste)

1 Cup Frozen Blueberries

Place sweet cashew cream sauce and frozen bananas in a blender or food processor. Blend, adding cinnamon and cardamom to taste, perhaps some sweetener if needed. This will take on the consistency of a soft serve ice cream. Take a serving dish of your choice, I always prefer something clear for this to appreciate its beauty. Place a layer of frozen blueberries and then your banana mixture. Continue to do so until you have filled the dish. Top with the remaining  banana mixture and a pinch of cinnamon, perhaps add a cinnamon stick for dramatic appeal : ) Serve immediately.

I love this dish because it is so versatile. You can use any fruit of choice and it will always be delicious frozen or not!
