Our May long weekend day trip was cut short today. A horrific accident on the Sea to Sky Highway prevented us from going anywhere but home. Just a little reminder to us all, no matter how good green smoothies make us feel- we are not invincible. Attitude of gratitude- give your neighbor a hug.
GREEN SMOOTHIE: PANGO
2 Fresh or Frozen Mango (roughly 2 cups)
1 CUP Frozen Pineapple
1 CUP Water
2-4 CUP Greens ( I used collard greens and kale)
5-7 Ice Cubes (If your fruit is not frozen)
Sweetener of choice
2 TBSP Chia Seeds
Place all ingredients in blender except your chia seeds and sweetener. Blend and sample. Add sweetener if it is needed and then chia. Blend for an additional 10 seconds. Serve.
