I decided to put this post up quickly, for those people who do not have an ice cream maker or the time to make this in the freezer. I have made this in both my blender and food processor-as a breakfast treat… hehe. For those of you who do not have a high powered blender I suggest using your food processor.
THE SUPER SIMPLE VANILLA MINT VEGAN MILKSHAKE
2 Frozen Bananas (always better if these are sliced before freezing)
1/2 Cup Canned Coconut Milk (full fat makes this really decadent)
5-8 Coconut Ice Cubes (optional)
4-8 Dates (or sweetener of choice)
1 TSP Peppermint Extract
1 1/2 TSP Vanilla Powder (Vanilla Bean or Vanilla Extract)
1 TSP Spirulina (for color)
Cocoa Nibs or Chocolate Chips
Pour coconut milk into ice-cube tray and freeze (though these are optional I really love what they add to this shake).
Place all ingredients in blender/food processor and blend until you reach your desired consistency. If you need to add additional milk do so, so as to assist your blender.
